Makis Tselios @ 12th Athens Xclusive Designers Week

Makis Tselios is not just a fashion designer, but is a true artist from the legendary Ionian Islands.  He was born on the island of Ithaki.  At the age of seven his family moved to the mainland seaport of Piraeus where he grew up.

He has created his own history through his innovative designs and unprecedented fashion shows which, for the first time in Greece, featured international models.

Some of the more important achievements of the firm were the designing of uniforms for Olympic Airlines in 1980, a collaboration with Neiman-Marcus in 1983, and the designing of the women's uniforms for the Greek Olympic teams for the 1984 Games in Los Angeles.

At his atelier in Kolonaki, Mr. Tselios designs a collection of haute couture and wedding dresses.

Makis Tselios designs speak to a woman's femininity and he is one of the most successful fashion designers in the Greek market. He creates a range of unique clothing and accessories lines, such us:

Up to the present moment, many companies' airlines, sealines, tourist companies' e.t.c. have assigned to MAKIS TSELIOS FIRM the design and creation of their personnel's costumes.

The collection that MAKIS TSELIOS designs, customers will find in 350 shops in Greece and 200 abroad.

Mr. Tselios presents his collections twice a year and pursues new creative endeavors.
