"I love fashion design from a young age, since always I was impressed by

images, especially the drama within them. That message that they transmit

and no one notices. In reality, this thing still follows me, and the messages that

I want to send to people can get a vivant expression through art fashion."

She was born on April 3, 1976, in Romania. Love for art and then to one of its most

modern form, fashion, started early.. and continues through manifestations of the most

diverse, unexpected mixes of styles, colors, and conceptual.Today he completes his

studies at the  National University of Arts Bucharest, Faculty of Decorative Arts and

Design. He worked with various companies in the field, so the first two debut

collections. Now designer creates its own brand Carmen Emanuela Popa, so recently

participating in Bucharest Fashion Week, with the collection "Somewhere Over the

Rainbow" for the SS 2012 season. About collection, presented at the 12th edition of

Athens Xclusive Designers Week - "Contemporary Unknown Soldier", the designer says:

" ..it is the expression of the artistic and philosophical messages I want to transmit,

antithetical assumptions about our inner worlds, about feelings and emotions,

about how differently each of us perceives the world in all diversity."
